No matter what happens to Trump the individual because of the ongoing litigation, I’m worried about Trumpism the disease, which has infected so many in our country. His language is not hyperbole; it’s strategy. What are the two Steves (Bannon, Miller) doing right now? Ugh.

Somewhere between Hitler and Stalin...as Putin really wants to be Czar Vladi and re-conquer the old Soviet lands and go back to the old times, as Hitler wanted to destroy anything not agreeable to his ideology, so is Trump.

Listen here, Tubberville, in the high-octane, adrenaline-pumped arena of Uncle Sam's defense, you're playing a game of Russian roulette with the military promotions, jamming the gears while the specter of war hovers like a hawk. If you keep this up, when the iron bell tolls, and it will toll, thunderous and grim, we'll be caught flat-footed, a skeleton crew facing the abyss. So mark my words, if you're going to chain the hands of readiness, you better be ready to don the helmet yourself. Lead the charge, Tubberville, because if this ship sails into the storm with no hands on deck, it's you who'll be at the helm, staring into the gale. Let loose the chains, man, for it's your signature on this potential calamity, and when the smoke clears, it'll be 'Tubberville's Army' that'll either stand tall or fall hard.

Fox News and the Internet have broken us. Trump is just the one who embodies what was building silently for years.

I've heard that Charlie Kirk did a hit piece on Martin Luther King. He wanted to reveal the "truth" about MLK and show us that he's really not such a great guy after all.

These people on the Right really are awful.

The Republicans are the party of contrarians, and this is a perfect example. Whatever the mainstream media tells them to do, they do the opposite. The mainstream media tells them to wear a mask, and they do the opposite. The media tells them to get vaccinated, and they do the opposite. The media tells them to support Ukraine, and they do the opposite. Now, the media is telling them that they should revere MLK, and they do the opposite.

Skepticism can be a good thing. You shouldn't just believe what the media tells you without question. However, the Republicans take this way too far.

There is something I wanted to mention.

It seems like right-wing populist parties are taking power all over Europe. Yesterday, the PVV became the largest party in the Dutch parliament. The Swedish Democrats are currently the second-largest party in Sweden, and the AfD is gaining popularity in Germany. It seems like there has been a shift right all across the continent. People are embracing these xenophobic nationalist parties.

For the longest time, the National Front was considered a pariah in France. Its founder, Jean Marie Le Pen, was regarded as a Nazi and an awful man. Now, his party is a mainstay in French politics. His daughter, Marine Le Pen, was the runner-up in the last two elections.

But the Left is winning in Britain at least. There is going to be a general election sometime next year, and Labour is almost guaranteed to win. So it's not all doom and gloom.

I am a history geek. I know that my history knowledge doesn't count for much. However, it does serve as a guide how NOT to behave. The whole MAGA movement will be remembered as a dark stain on American history. No one in their right mind would want to be part of it.

That picture of Trump supporters storming the Capitol Building is going in the history books. Fifty or a hundred years from now people will learn about that incident, and they will know that the MAGA movement was poisonous.

I wonder what they will call it. Trump's Rebellion, the Capitol Hill Coup, or the MAGA Mutiny.
