I'd love to see a VP who can work with congress, a Hickenlooper type, who can get the obstructionists in line. Someone who's good with people, understands congress. Someone, who like you said, puts us first. And I suspect that someone like that is less likely to have a crazy scandal hiding in their closet, and is less likely to be a total egomaniac.

Especially if we're going to get the ERA or SCOTUS Reform, as Biden officially put on the table, we need someone who can work with congress to get them to act in our favor.

Of all the people on her list, I was hoping for him. It seems to me she is as smart and long-sighted as people say!! Gives me hope!

Hard truth here; well put and so essential for these possible D VPs to self-vet. Thank you!

What are the odds?

I have my fingers crossed but my gut tells me that the next 90 some odd days will some of the most politically precarious (possibly dangerous) days of our American lives.

Yes! All of this. I don’t want any hubris costing us the election (and our democracy).

I wonder about the Shapiro staff harassment situation. It hasn’t been in the news as much as I would have predicted.

I was thinking the same thing. Hillary Clinton wasn’t able to go after Trump’s despicable behavior toward women because of Bill’s past behavior coming back to haunt us all. Nobody seems to be taking the harassment thing seriously but I’d hate to see it blow up after he’s picked, if he’s picked.
